Terms of Use

What you agree to when you use Archive.

Last updated July 28, 2026

Archive is made by Archive Found. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Using Archive

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use Archive on Apple devices you own or control. The app is yours to use, not to take apart: don't copy, modify, resell, or reverse engineer the app or attempt to bypass its purchase mechanisms.

Your content

You keep all rights to the photos and videos you edit in Archive. We claim no ownership of your content, and since everything is processed on your device, we never even see it. What you create with Archive, including exports you post commercially, is entirely yours.

Your responsibilities

Only edit media you have the right to use, and use the app in compliance with applicable law. Don't use Archive to create or spread content that infringes someone else's rights.

Subscriptions

Archive Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose. It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If a plan starts with a free trial, the trial converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices may change for new billing periods, with notice through the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and where the law gives you rights to a refund, those rights are unaffected.

Presets and content

The presets, templates, and other creative content included in Archive are licensed for use within the app. The results you create with them are yours; the preset and template files themselves may not be extracted, resold, or redistributed.

The App Store

Archive is distributed through Apple's App Store, and Apple's own terms also apply to your download and purchases. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Archive, and Apple may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary.

Warranty

Archive is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be free of errors.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Archive in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.

Ending things

You can stop using Archive at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue features, or refuse service, where these terms are abused or the law requires it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you live elsewhere, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain yours.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be available on this page, with the date above revised. Continuing to use Archive after a change means you accept the updated terms.
